The Title IX Office
GW Title IX is housed under the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Community Engagement. The Title IX Office provides resources, training, and reporting options to students, faculty, and staff to address concerns related to gender discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual violence, dating or domestic violence, and stalking prohibited by both Title IX and related university policies. The Title IX Office also oversees the Sexual Assault & Consultation Team (SARC), a 24/7 helpline available to members of the GW community seeking support. Click here to learn more.
The Office of Victim Services is committed to building a culture of care that supports and empowers GW community members who have been impacted by crime or violence. We provide services designed to raise awareness and address the needs of those affected by crime. Click here for more.
GW SASA is a peer-led organization whose purpose is to provide the community with educational and supportive services related to sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, sexual harassment, and stalking. We strive to eliminate the culture of sexual violence on campus, and do so by advocating for policy changes, actively educating the campus community, and creating safe spaces on campus for all those who have been affected by sexual violence.
